Well, the holidays are officially over and most of us are back at work full-time. Were you able to really get away while you were celebrating with your family and friends or were you interrupted on a regular basis with emails, pages, and cell phone calls?
Back in December I wrote a postdiscussing the problem of too much “connection” in today’s world. In that post I suggested that we reduce the amount of interruptions in our lives by setting boundries and not overloading on the latest technology “tool”.
There is a very good article on Dumb Little Man that discusses the process of “detoxing” ourselves from information overload by just reducing our exposure to information.
Let’s face it, we can’t increase the number of hours in the day, so we better start being more proactive in how we allocate and prioritize our time. Cutting out as much extraneous information as we can will give us more quality time, allowing us to improve the quality of our lives pretty much overnight.
